Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore Review

We are now into the third book of the Lorien Legacies series and now that we are starting to get to know all the character a bit more I am looking forward to what this book has got to offer.

Until I met John Smith, Number Four, I’d been on the run alone, hiding and fighting to stay alive. Together we are much more powerful. But it could only last so long before we had to separate to find the others . . .

I went to Spain to find Seven, and I found even more, including a tenth member of the Garde who escaped from Lorien alive. Ella is younger than the rest of us, but just as brave. Now we’re looking for the others – including John.

But so are they.

I am Number Six. To finish what they started, they’ll have to fight us first.

Taken from goodreads

One of the first things that you will notice when reading through this book is the three different POVs and at first I did have a hard time getting my head around which POV was hows as instead of having the name in the new chapter or something simply like that, they instead went with different fonts, which yes is quite easy to tell apart from one another but just use a chapter header to tell us.

Storywise the book is fantastic and filled to the brim of non stop action, the book is so fast paced that the 380 pages will fly by in no time and will make you want to jump straight into the next book just to see what they are all going to do next.

I do love the fight scenes, with the mixture of hand to hand combat and being able to use their legacies each scene is fantastic to read through

We do get introduced to another number of the group and the amount of excitement you feel when you realise that all of them are almost together for the first time is amazing..

Nine’s progression in this book is brilliant, he goes from his cocky self and not really caring about anything to actually showing Four what he is really like and you actually get to see a few emotional moment from him. The little amount I remember about this series before this reread I do remember Nine being one of my favourite characters so it is great to see the progression coming on nicely

After the way the book ended I am currently waiting for the fourth book to be posted by amazon so I am able to get into it as soon as possible.
