Spiderman (PS4) Review

I have been looking forward to this game from the moment I heard it was going to be released so I had it on preorder and the second it came into my possession it was installing.

You play as Peter Parker who is trying to juggle work, love and being Spiderman into one package. While he is doing his normal life he has to make sure the rest of Manhattan is going to be safe and doing so means beating 6 of his oldest and hardest enemies. Not only that but also keeping crime down and stopping the demons from taking over. From the moment you start the game you are thrown fight into an action packed adventure.

The story is really good, from start to finish you are invested and just want to know more about each of the characters and what they are going to give to the story. I can honestly say I didn’t dislike a single character in this game as they were all interesting and adding something good to the game. The love story between Peter and Mj is probably one of the best in a game I have ever seen and everytime something didn’t go right for them it will hurt you.

This is the most over used saying about this game but I’m just going to way it as well. If you want to feel like Spiderman then this game is for you. Combat is brilliant very batman Arkham like but more reaction based and makes you work for the win, swinging is probably the best you are ever going to get in a game. The only let down is the wall climbing I wish they made it smoother to turn around corners or try and get into smaller areas but other than that I can’t complain.

The game simply looks beautiful if you hit it in the right spot you can’t tell you are playing a game the scenery is perfect and it is everything I imagine Manhattan looking like expect for the man dressed in a spider costume.

This is one of the very few games I suggest buying at full price as even at £50 they could of charged alot more as there is just so much to do in this game that you get 30-40 hours worth of fun easy.

I hope you like the review and if so let me know. Anyway I’ve been Aaron Morrsi and I’ll see you next time.
